Some details about me:
I am a southern California and a Christian, baptized in the Episcopal Church, worshiping and confirmed the Anglican Church in North America. I was educated in History & Political Thought at Concordia University, Irvine, a Protestant classical liberal arts school. I have a few interests, mainly art, literature, politics, philosophy and theology. My politics tend to range between American small-r republicanism, One Nation Toryism, and Burkean conservatism. My specific political interests include but are not limited to immigration, the Near East, security, and with a healthy dose of economics. I also write occasionally as a layman-dilettante when it comes to theology.
Currently, my musings can be found in a few places besides here;
- Human Events
- The Hipster Conservative
- The Daily Caller
- The Russell Kirk Center
- Mere Orthodoxy
- Latino Rebels
- Conservative Pathways
- The North American Anglican
- Virtue in the Wasteland
- NewsTaco
Here’s a sampler of some of my best work (in my humble opinion);
- It’s Time to Leave Afghanistan
- Waiting for Conservative Renewal
- No NATO Expansion
- Unionize the Gig Economy
- In Defense of Smoking
- The Latinidad of Ted Cruz
- Thoughts On Hispanic Identity: Are We Becoming White
- On Polygamy
